What is the spirit of the Uni Apart Group for you - Thyra Wiesener?
What sets apart the Uni Apart Group?
There is no general answer to this question. That's why today we're introducing you to our newest addition, our property management trainee, Thyra Wiesener. We asked Thyra three questions that describe her, her work and the spirit of the Uni Apart Group. Enjoy reading.
1. What is your area of responsibility or which department do you work in at the Uni Apart Group?
In my first few weeks at Uni Apart, I've been working in administration and letting. It is an exciting and instructive time, during which I have already been able to gain a lot of insight into the processes in this department. I find it particularly interesting how closely the different areas are interlinked. In the course of my training, I will also gain an insight into other departments, which I find very informative and valuable.
2. What makes your job particularly interesting?
As a trainee, I expect my areas of responsibility to be varied and practical, so that I can acquire a lot of important knowledge and skills. I particularly appreciate the fact that I already have the opportunity to work very independently and take on responsibility. In the first few weeks, I have already been able to take on tasks independently in administration and letting, which not only gives me a lot of confidence, but also develops my skills. I'm looking forward to familiarising myself with other areas over the course of my training and continuously expanding my knowledge.
3. The slogan of the Uni Apart Group is Friends of the House
– what does it mean to you, and how do you embody this slogan in your work?
For me, the slogan ‘Friends of the house’ means that Uni Apart not only prioritises service, but also cultivates a personal and trusting relationship with its tenants. It's about making every tenant feel like a friend of the house - welcome, supported and valued. In my work, I put this slogan into practice by responding to tenants' concerns with friendliness, openness and helpfulness. It is important to me that they feel well looked after and I always endeavour to create a positive and professional atmosphere.
