240 PV modules on an area of 452 m² produce approx. 80,000 kWh of electricity per year. This saves around 45 tons of CO₂ emissions per year. These are the most important facts about our new PV system on the student apartment complex we manage in Neuburger Straße in Ingolstadt. In balance, we thus generate more electricity on our own roof than we consume on site in the property. However, due to the different load times, generation and consumption partly differ from each other. We therefore expect to cover 65 % of our own consumption, with the remaining 35 % being fed into the grid. In addition, vehicle charging stations will be installed for the use of our residents, commercial tenants and for public use.
This is a great pilot project, which we intend to implement on other roofs of our managed facilities in the future, thus contributing to climate protection. This project was implemented by Orthmann Green Power (OGP) - for your home. As a specialized provider, we are also happy to take over the planning, construction, operation and maintenance of renewable energies for your large-scale plant - and supply you reliably and sustainably with climate-neutral and locally produced electricity.
In the future, Orthmann Green Power also plans to offer the entire energy supply with renewable energies. Thus, for example, the subsequent installation of a heat pump can also be carried out via the contracting solution at fair conditions.
