The Uni Apart Group is taking further significant steps towards carbon neutrality. Under the motto "for a more sustainable future", the company is implementing a responsible philosophy that is consistently embedded throughout its operations.

The construction of the Das grüne Haus® property is characterized by the use of rapidly renewable resources, serving as the basis for efficient thermal and acoustic insulation. These materials not only contribute to environmentally friendly construction but also have a positive impact on the carbon footprint. The innovative wood hybrid construction allows for an impressive saving of 70 tons of CO2 per year. Additionally, connecting to the district heating network of the city of Neu-Ulm as an environmentally friendly heat supply is another part of the energy concept.

Another focus is on expanding the charging network for electric vehicles. The Uni Apart Group has already installed three electric vehicle charging stations at Schlüterstraße 3b and is now expanding its network with two more charging stations at its location on Neuburgerstraße 55. This initiative underscores the commitment to eco-friendly mobility and the provision of comprehensive charging infrastructure.

Since 2015, the group exclusively sources carbon-neutral electricity and gas for all its properties, and the transition to eco-friendly heat supply alternatives is an integral part of the energy concept.

The sustainable orientation of the Uni Apart Group is also evident in the intelligent utilization of roof surfaces for on-site PV electricity generation. A photovoltaic system with storage capability has been installed to produce a significant portion of the required electricity. This is accompanied by the transition from combustion engine vehicles to electric vehicles. With the introduction of the first fully electric vehicles, the ID3 and ID4, the Uni Apart Group has sent a clear signal to embrace electric vehicles in the future and to make its vehicle pool sustainable.
